The Bastingage Outdoor Dining Extension Table in ROUND version by Les Jardins has a simple yet sophisticated appearance thanks to its round tubular frame with teak accents and premium European made HPL (High pressure laminate) top.
The table, in its closed position looks like a regular round outdoor table with slightly inset legs. It has a diameter of 146cm when closed. When extended, it extends to 206cm. So it forms an oval table of dimensions 146x206cm.
The extension mechanism is not visible, and is concealed within the framework. By opening the 2 table leaves, a 60cm insert is revealed.
The teak wood accents on the vertical pillars have a deliberate architecturally textured grey appearance due a process which involves vigorous brushing for a seasoned finish, then after an initial coat of waterproofing primer, 5 coats of grey finish treatment is applied, known as DURATEK, a Les Jardins proprietary paint finish . This process protects the wood against the weather, UV and various stains such as wine, coffee or oil. The grey colour is distinctive and attractive. No need to oil, just clean with mild soapy water.

Materials:
Aluminium
The aluminium frame is precision welded on preformed jigs. The weld joints are then ground down to form attractive smooth seams. The frame is then powder-coated for extra strength and protection against oxidation.
HPL top - made in Europe, specifically for outdoor use - in a faux Slate look finish
Product care:
Aluminium frame: no particular care is required. From time to time, clean with a soft brush and soapy water and rinse clean. Avoid scratching the powder-coated surface.
HPL top - occasionally clean with soapy water and rinse clean.
In case of manufacturing or material faults, Poynters will repair or replace this furniture free of charge within a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, for domestic use. Note that all damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper or unreasonable use or improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty. Unless otherwise stated, cushions are excluded from this warranty.
